The Ecommerce Operations Manager will work directly with Movie Zyng's Managing Director to oversee the day-to-day operation and growth of the business.
This role combines ecommerce merchandising, promotional planning, email marketing coordination, customer experience management, analytics, and operational leadership.
The ideal candidate is an experienced ecommerce operator who understands how to grow a direct-to-consumer business through effective merchandising, promotions, customer retention, and operational excellence.
This position is designed as a long-term leadership opportunity, with the expectation that the successful candidate will assume increasing responsibility over the next several years and ultimately become the primary operational leader of Movie Zyng.

Responsibilities
Ecommerce Merchandising & Promotions
  • Develop monthly and quarterly promotional calendars
  • Identify products and collections to feature in promotions
  • Create merchandising strategies that drive revenue and customer engagement
  • Analyze sales trends and recommend promotional opportunities
  • Coordinate launch plans for new product releases
  • Optimize product collections, category pages, and featured products

Email Marketing & Customer Retention
  • Own the email marketing calendar
  • Coordinate campaign development and execution
  • Work with customer segmentation strategies
  • Develop customer retention initiatives
  • Improve repeat purchase rates and customer lifetime value
  • Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements

Ecommerce Operations
  • Assist with management of the Shopify storefront
