Essential Functions
  • Monitors and expedites the flow of goods, resources, and information required by the supply chain to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs.
  • Coordinates with procurement, production, inventory control, distribution, transportation, and other functions to optimize the supply chain.
  • Identifies bottlenecks or problem areas and escalates or proposes solutions.
  • Works with suppliers to resolve issues.
  • May assist in the negotiation of contracts or service arrangements.

      Required Qualifications
      • Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
      • Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
      Preferred Qualifications
      • Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree
      • Discipline/Major: Business, Supply Chain Management or related discipline preferred
      • Knowledge, skills & abilities: Contract Compliance. Data Analysis. Supply Chain Optimization. Supply Chain Planning. Compliance Monitoring. Supply Chain Planning Software. General Data Analysis Software

       Additions to essential functions: Monitor suppliers to ensure compliance with schedules and product conformity. Identify and enforce supplier priorities for product delivery and corrective actions. Collaborate with suppliers to address schedule delays, contractual non-compliance, and develop recovery plans. Serve as a liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders (procurement, engineering, manufacturing) to provide updates, align requirements, and resolve issues effectively. Conduct on-site supplier assessments to evaluate capacity, capability, and readiness for work statements. Identify and recommend opportunities for process enhancements to improve operational efficiency and support procurement strategies. Facilitate process improvements to boost supplier performance and delivery outcomes when needed.

      Physical Requirements
      • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
      • Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.
      • Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
      Travel RequirementsMore than 50% travel likely.
