Job description

*Telecommuting role to be performed anywhere in the U.S.

Support the Sales team with recommendations for development, implementation of complex offerings and solutions to help them achieve sales quotas. Meet revenue goals, deployment, and service objectives, while sustaining good relationships with prospects and customers.

What You Will Do:

  • Build, design, and present complex solutions to customers.
  • Collaborate with Product Teams, Product Engineering, Professional Services and Sales teams to ensure excellent customer experience with our offerings and solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted subject matter expert for the customers, gain the trust of IT professionals, and build long-lasting relationships within our key accounts.
  • Prepare detailed product specifications and implement customer installation plans.
  • Demonstrate expertise by delivering white papers, presenting at conferences and user groups.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or related role.
  • Must have eight (8) years of experience working in software engineering, consulting, infrastructure management, sales engineering, or in a solutions architecture role.
  • Must have five (5) years of experience with: Linux system administration; one or more virtualization providers; and giving technical presentations to small and large groups of business, technical, management, and leadership audiences.
  • Must have three (3) years of experience with: one or more public cloud providers including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or IBM Cloud, and their integration with enterprise customers; implementing and deploying Kubernetes and related CNCF landscape projects; IT architecture management, including creating and following complex architecture implementation plans; and hyperscaler services.
  • Domestic travel required up to 25% of the time to customer sites and internal and external conferences. Travel expenses covered by Red Hat, LLC.

The salary range for this position is $157,248 - $206,520/year. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat's compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
