Day in the Life of a Remote Workday Intelligence AnalystServe as a subject matter expert (SME) for Workday HCM, Talent, Timekeeping, Benefits, Payroll, Reporting, and Integrations.Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute standard and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics.
  • Configure, maintain, test, and troubleshoot Workday business processes, security roles, reports, dashboards, and system functionality.
  • Partner with People Operations, Finance, Operations, Payroll, Benefits, and IT teams to understand business needs and recommend system solutions.
  • Support Workday releases, enhancements, system updates, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with the management and monitoring of Workday integrations and data interfaces.
  • Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with regulatory, organizational, and security requirements.
  • Analyze workforce data and trends to support business decision-making.
  • Participate in system implementations, upgrades, testing, and project-related activities.
  • Research and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.
  • Provide end-user support, troubleshooting, and training for Workday functionality.
  • Create and maintain system documentation, job aids, and training materials.

Preferred Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or Business-related field preferred.
  • At least two years' experience as a HR systems analyst or holds at least 2 active Workday Pro Certifications in the following areas: HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Absence/Timekeeping.
  • Experience supporting multiple Workday modules, including: HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Timekeeping, Talent, Integrations, and Reporting/Analytics.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Must be analytical; detail oriented and understands/considers the downstream impact of configuration and business process changes.
  • The individual must have problem solving skills and be able to apply creative solutions to potential problems.
  • Project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  • Must have excellent time management skills in meeting deadlines.
  • Exercises considerable judgment and discretion in preparing and handling information of a sensitive nature.
