Business Development Manager (BDM) - FTE - Remote in California
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who can deliver results and has expertise in both hunting and farming activities. As a proactive hunter, you should be able to identify and seize new business opportunities while also maintaining good relationships with existing accounts in the IT services industry. This also includes selling turnkey, end-to-end solutions & services based on SOW.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the business development efforts with a primary focus on Identifying and pursuing new clients, with an emphasis on hunting activities (80%).
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to foster growth opportunities, with a focus on farming activities (20%).
  • Utilize existing network and actively expand contacts within the IT services industry to drive business growth.
  • Drive the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Must be comfortable working with executive management as well as CXO-level stakeholders to articulate strategies, solutions, and services.
  • Identify emerging market trends and opportunities to capitalize on new business prospects.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • 8-10 years of proven experience in business development, preferably in the technology sector.
  • Prior experience in selling services both offshore and onshore is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the contingent workforce and its dynamics.
  • Ability to manage existing accounts while also onboarding new accounts.
  • Proficiency in utilizing sales intelligence, networking & collaboration/communication tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and have a result-oriented mindset.
  • Located in the Bay Area, CA (preferred).
