Deeper Strength Counseling Services is on the lookout for a dedicated and culturally competent Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our progressive telehealth practice. You will have the tools needed for efficacious practice, including access to electronic health record (EHR) systems that streamline documentation and patient management.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that prioritize cultural sensitivity to create personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s background and needs.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy, while incorporating cultural considerations in your approach.
• Offer individual, family, and group therapy sessions designed to address patients' mental health challenges and foster resilience.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and psychologists, ensuring a holistic and comprehensive approach to each patient’s care.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention support, using well-honed skills to assist patients during mental health emergencies.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and available resources, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that meets ethical and legal standards, ensuring accurate tracking of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Participate in regular case conferences and team meetings to continuously enhance care delivery and share insights related to cultural responsiveness.
• Stay current with the latest research in mental health and engage in ongoing professional development activities, including specialized training in cultural competency.

Your role will not only involve therapy but also serve as a bridge that connects patients to necessary resources and support, which enhances their overall mental health journey.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
• Demonstrated expertise in mental health disorders and effective treatment methodologies.
• Experience in facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions using culturally responsive techniques.
• Strong crisis intervention skills, with the ability to maintain composure and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, essential for building strong rapport with a diverse patient base.
• Proficient in the use of EHR systems and comfortable with digital communication tools.
• A commitment to ethical practice, maintaining confidentiality, and upholding professional boundaries.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a supportive and collaborative atmosphere.

• At least two years of experience in a mental health counseling role, ideally within a setting focused on underserved or diverse populations.
• Experience in telehealth services or willingness to engage in teletherapy and online consultation.
• Prior training in cultural competency and familiarity with the specific challenges faced by marginalized communities.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
