As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough and comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and backgrounds.
• Developing personalized therapy plans that address the specific challenges and goals of each client.
• Facilitating one-on-one therapy sessions through virtual platforms, utilizing evidence-based techniques to foster client engagement.
• Tracking and evaluating client progress over time, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
• Providing clients with practical tools, resources, and coping strategies to manage symptoms and lead fulfilling lives.
• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare team members to ensure integrated care and address any co-occurring concerns.

You will work with a diverse client population that includes adolescents and adults experiencing a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, emphasizing direct client interaction.

Those with additional certifications in specific therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), will be viewed favorably. Experience in telehealth practices and knowledge of culturally responsive approaches to therapy will enhance your candidacy.
