As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Silver Lining, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting confidential remote therapy sessions with individuals and groups, utilizing our state-of-the-art telehealth platform to ensure a supportive therapeutic experience.
• Performing comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ emotional and mental health needs, and developing tailored treatment plans that integrate best practices in clinical social work.
• Providing immediate support and crisis intervention services when necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients in critical situations.
• Connecting clients with community resources, social services, and support networks that contribute positively to their overall well-being.
• Maintaining meticulous electronic client records, including documentation of progress notes and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and colleagues to ensure holistic, coordinated care that addresses all aspects of a client’s needs.
• Educating clients about coping strategies, effective communication techniques, and self-care practices that empower them to take an active role in managing their mental health.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest research, methodologies, and innovations in clinical social work, particularly related to teletherapy.

Your work will focus on a diverse array of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, and other mental health concerns. Each client presents unique experiences and backgrounds, and your role will be pivotal in providing tailored support that acknowledges and respects their individuality.

• Holding a current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois, where you will be providing services.
• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field, demonstrating your academic foundation in this essential discipline.
• A minimum of three years of related professional experience, showcasing a depth of knowledge and practice in the field.
• Proficient with telehealth technology and platforms, enabling you to effectively engage with clients remotely.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills ideal for building rapport with clients in an online setting.
• A deep commitment to ethical practices and confidentiality in therapeutic interactions.
• Capable of working independently and effectively in a virtual work environment.
• Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the varying needs of clients located in different time zones.

• Experience working within school settings or with school-aged populations is a plus, allowing for collaborative interactions with educators and school support staff.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices that enhance client engagement and treatment efficacy in a virtual environment.
