Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Forte Well-Being, you will:

  • Conduct ethical and compassionate mental health counseling sessions via secure video conferencing platforms.
  • Utilize solution-focused treatment methodologies to assess and treat clients effectively.
  • Create and implement comprehensive, individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
  • Guide clients through self-reflection to foster insight into their emotions and interpersonal relationships.
  • Continuously monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans to encourage the development of healthy coping mechanisms.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with stable, low-acuity adults dealing with a variety of mental health issues. We focus on providing holistic care that includes assessment, treatment, and ongoing support to improve overall quality of life for our clients. Your role will directly contribute to empowering clients to enhance their mental health and emotional well-being.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • A full, unrestricted license to practice independently, including any of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • No disciplinary actions or limited/provisional licenses.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating a sympathetic and empathetic nature.
  • Strong computer literacy and familiarity with telehealth platforms.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experience is preferred:

  • Previous experience counseling diverse populations and addressing varied mental health concerns.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and familiarity with teletherapy practices.
