• Conduct thorough clinical assessments for students to evaluate their emotional and psychological needs, utilizing both standardized tests and observational techniques.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific situation of each student, focusing on effective materials and interventions.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy, and crisis intervention.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and records using electronic health record systems, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including educators, school psychologists, and parents, to ensure a coordinated approach in supporting students.
• Deliver educational sessions to students and families, equipping them with tools and strategies to navigate mental health challenges and build resilience.
• Stay abreast of ongoing research and developments in the mental health field to continuously enhance therapeutic techniques and practices.

Your primary clients will be students ranging from elementary to high school age, many of whom experience a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. Your role will involve not only individual therapy but also group counseling and classroom workshops, aiming to foster a school environment that prioritizes emotional wellness.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• A valid LCSW license in Arizona.
• Proven knowledge of and experience with solution-focused and trauma-informed therapeutic approaches.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to connect and engage effectively with children, parents, and educators.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records and willingness to adapt to new technologies.

• Previous experience working in a school setting or with adolescent populations is highly desirable.
• Experience conducting group therapy or educational workshops focused on mental health.
• Background in crisis intervention and management strategies.
