Adelphi is seeking a Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) to provide medical nutrition therapy services for residents of a healthcare facility in Lubbock County, Texas. The ideal candidate will assess nutritional needs, develop care plans, provide education, document services, and collaborate with the care team.

Requirements
• Current Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Current, unrestricted Texas Dietitian License in good standing.
• Education in dietetics, nutrition, food and nutrition, or a related discipline that meets applicable professional credentialing requirements.
• Minimum of five years of relevant professional dietitian experience.
• Experience providing medical nutrition therapy, nutrition screenings, comprehensive assessments, care planning, and nutrition education.
• Ability to develop individualized nutritional guidelines, recommendations, and treatment plans.
• Experience documenting services in an electronic medical or clinical record system.
• Proficiency with computers, remote-service technology, and secure electronic documentation platforms.
• Reliable internet access and the ability to maintain a secure, confidential remote workspace.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with clinical leadership, physicians, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Ability to respond to facility requests and complete clinical documentation within established timeframes.
• Must maintain all required licenses, registrations, certifications, and permits in good standing throughout the assignment.
• Must complete all required background screening, credential verification, onboarding, and facility training.
• Must comply with applicable professional standards, facility policies, confidentiality requirements, and established standards of care.

Responsibilities
• Provide remote medical nutrition therapy services under the direction of the facility’s Chief Clinical Dietitian or designated clinical leader.
• Conduct nutrition screenings, comprehensive nutritional assessments, and follow-up evaluations.
• Review residents’ medical conditions, nutritional status, dietary needs, treatment goals, and applicable restrictions.
• Develop individualized nutrition plans, guidelines, interventions, and recommendations.
• Provide nutrition education regarding dietary modifications, treatment recommendations, and strategies to support improved health outcomes.
• Monitor resident progress and recommend modifications to nutrition interventions when clinically appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing personnel, clinical staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team regarding residents’ nutritional needs.
• Enter assessment findings, nutrition plans, recommendations, and other required information into the facility’s Clinical Record System.
• Prepare written or dictated reports for each resident and each episode of treatment.
• Complete all required records, reports, and clinical documentation accurately and within established deadlines.
• Respond to facility communications and requests within required timeframes.
• Perform additional nutrition-related duties as assigned by the Chief Clinical Dietitian or designated clinical leader.
• Follow established standards of care, performance expectations, documentation procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
• Support the timely completion of dietitian services for referred residents and promote continuity of nutritional care.
