Work Environment

In this role, you will work in a remote outpatient office setting, allowing you to provide care from the comfort of your own space while still being part of a collaborative and dedicated team of mental health professionals. Our work environment is designed to cultivate a supportive atmosphere that values contributions, teamwork, and ongoing professional development. We operate Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 4 PM, with occasional flexibility required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments, using evidence-based practices and solution-focused interventions to create personalized treatment plans for each client.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to the individual needs of your clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards, ensuring client information remains protected.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team, comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals, to enhance client care.
  • Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to share insights, improve therapeutic practices, and ensure the highest standard of care is maintained.
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
  • Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in the mental health field to continuously improve your practice and the services provided by our center.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients include individuals grappling with various mental health issues such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related conditions, and more. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work closely with diverse populations, customizing your therapeutic approach to align with each client's unique background, experiences, and personal objectives. You'll interact with clients from different age groups and cultural contexts, fostering an inclusive environment that honors their individuality.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A valid and active license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of solution-focused psychotherapy interventions tailored to individual client needs.
