Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to better understand patients' trauma histories and develop appropriate treatment strategies.
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans centered on trauma recovery and resilience-building, ensuring each plan is tailored to meet the specific needs of every patient.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in both individual and group therapy settings.
  • Facilitate therapy sessions that promote healing, empower patients to develop coping strategies, and allow for open discussion in a safe environment.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated and cohesive approach to patient care.
  • Provide crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, offering support to those in immediate need.
