This full-time, remote position allows you to provide both telehealth and face-to-face counseling sessions, mainly serving the community in Brownsville, Texas. The role of Licensed Professional Counselor offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, providing community-oriented mental health services from the comfort of your own home or office. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals while enjoying a work-life balance that allows for personal and professional growth. Our operating hours are from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, ensuring that you can design a schedule that fits your lifestyle.

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to better understand patients' trauma histories and develop appropriate treatment strategies.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans centered on trauma recovery and resilience-building, ensuring each plan is tailored to meet the specific needs of every patient.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in both individual and group therapy settings.
• Facilitate therapy sessions that promote healing, empower patients to develop coping strategies, and allow for open discussion in a safe environment.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated and cohesive approach to patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, offering support to those in immediate need.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and resources available to them, thus enhancing their understanding of their mental health journey.
• Maintain up-to-date, accurate, and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in case consultations, participate in team meetings, and pursue professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy methodologies.

Oasis Mental Clinic serves a diverse patient population, with a specific focus on individuals who have experienced trauma. You will work with clients from various backgrounds, helping them navigate their mental health challenges and empowering them to build resilience. • A Master’s degree or higher in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, along with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating compassion and a non-judgmental approach.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure counseling experience is preferred.
• Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, with a strong focus on client-centered outcomes.
• Ability to effectively utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications.
• Team-oriented attitude, capable of working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our employment package includes:
