The Student Success Coordinator (SSC) supports undergraduate nursing student success through the coordination, development, and implementation of structured, data-informed academic support initiatives. This role contributes to student retention, progression, and licensure readiness by providing direct student support and assisting in the development of program-level systems that promote clinical judgment, academic performance, and NCLEX preparation.
The position operates at both the individual and programmatic level, working collaboratively with faculty, school leadership, and campus partners to support student success and continuous program improvement. The position operates primarily in a standard office and academic environment with regular on-campus presence required during academic terms. Daily responsibilities involve frequent interaction with students, faculty, and staff, as well as extended periods of computer and administrative work.

Hybrid remote work may be available after the successful completion of the initial training period. Please note that the remote work policy is subject to change at the discretion of the department or university.

Required Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Nursing (MS or MSN)

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure in the State of Wisconsin

  • Minimum of three years of professional experience in higher education, clinical instruction, nursing practice, student support services, or a related field

  • Knowledge of nursing education standards and clinical practice expectations

  • Demonstrated experience supporting and working effectively with students from a variety of backgrounds and experiences
