The Mental Strength Makers Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a remote capacity. This position is designed for a climate-controlled remote work setting, providing comfort while allowing for daily interaction with other healthcare professionals through virtual meetings and collaborations. You will engage with multidisciplinary teams that may include school counselors, nurses, and other mental health providers to create an effective support network for your clients.

• Conduct thorough assessments, including the use of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), to accurately diagnose client conditions when necessary.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect the diverse cultural backgrounds, preferences, and special needs of the patient population served.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting strategies as needed to support their mental health journey.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation of treatment records and progress, adhering to regulatory standards and departmental policies.
• Work collaboratively with clients, their families, and other healthcare providers to establish clear, actionable treatment goals and objectives.
• Coordinate referrals and assist patients in navigating treatment options, fostering connectivity between them and other service providers.
• Provide mentorship and educational support to interns and new staff members, helping to cultivate a culture of learning and development within the team.
• Participate in peer reviews and clinical collaborations as directed by clinical supervisors to ensure team-wide improvements and cohesive practice.

This role focuses primarily on individuals and families impacted by cancer, providing therapy that addresses not only the psychological aspects of their diagnosis but also the complex web of emotions and social dynamics that accompany such life-altering experiences. • Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Kansas.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation and communication.

• Experience providing therapy in an outpatient setting, preferably with individuals and families dealing with serious health diagnoses.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary care team, enhancing patient care through shared knowledge and resources.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and online therapeutic modalities to enhance accessibility for clients.

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
