  • Collaborate with the Chemical Dependency Recovery Program (CDRP) and other treatment teams to formulate, present, and revise detailed treatment plans aimed at achieving optimal recovery outcomes.
  • Facilitate clinical case conferences to discuss patient progress, treatment efficacy, and any necessary adjustments to care strategies.
  • Deliver educational lectures focused on chemical dependency, promoting awareness and understanding among patients and families.
  • Provide individualized and group counseling sessions designed to foster recovery and coping strategies.
  • Engage in therapeutic practices with adolescents, significant others, and families, emphasizing the importance of multi-family therapy as part of the recovery process.
  • Support patients with case management services, ensuring they have access to vital resources and referrals that could assist in their recovery journey.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is to work with patients facing chemical dependencies, which may range from alcohol and drug abuse to co-occurring mental health disorders. The position requires a compassionate and understanding approach, addressing both the psychological and emotional aspects of addiction. Our clients often come from diverse backgrounds and present varying degrees of challenges, making flexibility and cultural competence crucial competencies for our social workers.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in Social Work (MSW) or a closely related field is mandatory.
  • Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of relevant post-graduate supervised experience in addiction medicine therapy within the last five (5) years.
Preferred Experience
