• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients’ mental health to better understand their unique challenges and develop effective, tailored treatment plans.
• Provide individual therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques that promote personal growth, emotional healing, and overall well-being.
• Collaborate with clients to establish clear therapeutic goals and regularly monitor progress toward achieving these goals.
• Deliver teletherapy services for clients who may face mobility challenges or prefer virtual communication.
• Ensure ethical standards by maintaining accurate and detailed client documentation as per regulatory and organizational guidelines.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and stay abreast of emerging trends in mental health and therapy.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at NovaCare, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families dealing with a range of mental health issues, such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. Utilizing a client-centered approach, you will help clients navigate their struggles, offering support, guidance, and evidence-based interventions tailored to their specific needs.

• Must possess a valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
• Demonstrated ability to build secure and trusted relationships with clients through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• A compassionate and nonjudgmental attitude towards clients’ experiences, ensuring a safe therapeutic space.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage caseloads and administrative tasks.

• Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting providing therapy and mental health counseling is preferred.
• Experience working with specific populations such as children, adolescents, or individuals with addictive behaviors is a plus.
