As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will engage in a range of daily responsibilities that integrate patient care with evidence-based practices. Your core duties will include:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments, carefully considering any co-occurring medical conditions that may impact mental well-being.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that address both mental health and medical issues, following a structured, evidence-based approach.
• Facilitating group and individual therapy sessions that cater to the unique needs of each patient, helping them navigate their mental health challenges.
• Collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure cohesive treatment pathways and continuity of care, focusing on achieving optimal patient outcomes.
• Providing crisis intervention and emotional support to clients during urgent situations, equipping them with coping strategies.
• Educating clients on the interconnectedness of mental and physical health, empowering them to take an active role in managing their health.
• Maintaining meticulous documentation, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards surrounding patient confidentiality and care.
• Participating in team meetings and case conferences, fostering a culture of collaboration and proactive problem-solving.
• Staying informed on the latest research and advancements in integrated mental health care.

Your work will primarily focus on supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiencing a range of mental health issues, often compounded by medical conditions such as autoimmune disorders, substance use disorders, and chronic pain. Your role will be pivotal in helping these individuals find stability and improvement in their mental health, ultimately enhancing their quality of life.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; while a Master's or doctoral degree is preferred.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Colorado.
• Demonstrated experience working with individuals who have co-occurring medical conditions and mental health needs.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate trust and support with patients.
• Deep understanding of professional ethics, ensuring patient confidentiality at all times.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and other computer applications relevant to therapy.
• A collaborative spirit and ability to contribute effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.

While your education and licensure are paramount, candidates with direct experience in integrated healthcare settings and knowledge of telehealth practices will be highly valued. Comfort with online platforms for therapy and communication will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
