Job description

Northern Light Mercy Hospital is seeking a part-time (0.5 FTE) Hospitalist to join its established inpatient medicine team in Portland, Maine. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, patient-centered team in one of New England's most desirable coastal communities.
Position Highlights:
  • Daytime only coverage.
  • 10-12 hour shifts, starting at 7:00 am.
  • Closed ICU with critical care providers on site.
  • Manageable patient load that lends itself to exceptional patient care outcomes.
  • Work alongside experienced Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners.
  • Strong specialty support, ensuring timely consults and comprehensive patient care.
  • Collaborative, team-based environment focused on quality, safety, and provider well-being.
