This position offers the flexibility of remote work while maintaining a close-knit and collaborative atmosphere with your colleagues. The work schedule typically runs from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs. Our digital platforms facilitate seamless communication and teamwork, allowing you to effectively manage caseloads while working comfortably from your home office.

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs, develop tailored treatment plans, and track progress throughout the recovery journey.
• Provide individual counseling sessions utilizing motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and other evidence-based interventions to empower patients.
• Lead group therapy sessions designed to promote peer support, share experiences, and enhance coping strategies among participants.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other healthcare professionals to create a holistic and coordinated treatment experience for clients.
• Respond promptly to crises during substance-related emergencies, providing necessary intervention and support.
• Guide patients and their families through the complexities of addiction recovery, including education about available community resources.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records in compliance with legal standards and ethical guidelines.
• Engage in professional development initiatives, reflecting on treatment outcomes and integrating the latest research into practice.

You will primarily work with adults experiencing substance use disorders. Our patients often come from diverse backgrounds and may present with additional co-occurring mental health issues. Your role will reflect a deep commitment to understanding and addressing the unique challenges this population faces, enabling you to provide empathetic and effective treatment.

• Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW to practice in the state of Washington.
• Solid understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities specific to substance use disorders and a recovery-oriented approach.
• Proven experience conducting both individual and group therapy sessions centered on addiction recovery.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with patients through an empathetic and non-judgmental lens.
• Strong commitment to ethical practice, maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital communication tools essential for remote therapy delivery.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of support and continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates will possess at least two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, specifically within the context of substance use treatment. Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and experience in crisis intervention will be viewed as significant assets.
