• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and understand the mental health concerns of clients, adapting your approach based on their specific needs.
• Create individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring measurable goals are established in collaboration with clients.
• Monitor and evaluate clients' progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Deliver high-quality individual therapy sessions, adapting your techniques to cater to the distinct experiences and challenges of each client.
• Provide accessible teletherapy options, enabling clients who prefer virtual interactions or face transportation barriers to receive continual support.
• Maintain all documentation and records meticulously, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and regulations.
• Engage proactively in ongoing learning and professional development through workshops, training, and peer supervision.

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse client base experiencing a range of mental health issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. The focus is on creating a safe, trusting environment where clients feel heard and valued, fostering a strong therapeutic alliance that promotes healing and resilience.

• Current and valid licensure in Georgia as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A minimum of a Master’s degree or a doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective rapport with clients.
• A strong sense of empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach toward clients' unique experiences.
• Proficient organizational and time-management skills to handle case documentation and client scheduling efficiently.

• Experience providing therapy in outpatient or private practice settings, particularly with a focus on trauma-informed care.
• Demonstrated ability to work with culturally diverse populations and an understanding of issues related to diversity and inclusion in mental health treatment.
