Step Forward Social Work is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a fully remote capacity. Work Environment

In the comfort of a remote work environment, our Licensed Clinical Social Worker will engage in meaningful interactions with clients from diverse backgrounds. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health concerns, strengths, and available resources, tailoring interventions to their unique situations.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based treatment modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and trauma-focused therapy.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans that outline specific goals and therapeutic strategies in collaboration with clients and the healthcare team.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups, encouraging client engagement and community-building.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and medical professionals, to ensure holistic and coordinated client care.
  • Provide crisis intervention services as needed, performing risk assessments and safety planning for at-risk clients.
  • Document all interactions and progress in compliance with ethical and legal standards to maintain continuity of care and uphold the organization's commitment to quality record-keeping.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will predominantly work with clients experiencing a range of mental health issues related to end-of-life care, including grief, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Understanding the emotional complexities associated with hospice care, you will deliver personalized support, aiming to enhance the quality of life for both clients and their families during this challenging period.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience in a mental health or outpatient setting.
  • Strong knowledge of various evidence-based therapeutic modalities and ability to implement these practices effectively.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working within a hospice or palliative care setting, allowing for a deeper understanding of the nuances in end-of-life care.
  • Exposure to trauma-informed care practices and familiarity with supportive interventions for grieving families.
Compensation and Benefits
