As a Senior LCSW, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to inform individualized treatment plans and ensuring that approaches align with established best practices and solution-based interventions.
• Implementing a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), while adapting techniques to suit the unique needs of each patient.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation according to organizational policies and legal obligations, demonstrating your commitment to ethical practice and patient confidentiality.
• Collaborating with the treatment team to formulate comprehensive care plans, sharing insights and feedback during case consultations to enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families around mental health, and available community resources, fostering a holistic approach to recovery.
• Staying abreast of the latest research in mental health practices and integrating new knowledge into your clinical work to continually improve service delivery.

Your primary focus will be on individuals undergoing detoxification and those navigating the complexities of substance use disorders. This population often presents with co-occurring mental health challenges, requiring your compassion and expertise in addressing their needs through both therapeutic interventions and community-based support options. You will play an essential role in assisting patients during their recovery journeys, helping them build resilience and effective coping mechanisms.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or a closely related field is required.
• Active state licensure as an LCSW or equivalent is mandatory for practice.
• Demonstrated experience working with a broad spectrum of mental health disorders, particularly in substance use treatment, is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective patient engagement and teamwork.
• A proven ability to work autonomously while also contributing effectively within a collaborative environment.

• Experience conducting therapy in a remote setting is highly desirable, utilizing technology to enhance patient interactions.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems to maintain organized and compliant patient documentation.
• Training or certification in evidence-based therapies beyond traditional modalities, particularly related to mood disorders.
