We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Remote Mental Health Counselor, holding credentials as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), to join our dedicated team at Impireum Psychiatric Counseling Center. This full-time position allows you to work remotely while focusing on delivering high-quality mental health care to patients in Corpus Christi, Texas, through an outpatient model.

This role is designed to function in a remote setting, allowing you to provide therapy from the comfort of your own home while effectively reaching a diverse patient population. Regular team meetings and case consultations will help foster a sense of community and ongoing professional development.

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments of new patients and their families to effectively identify their unique mental health needs.
• Provide individualized and family therapy based on assessment outcomes, deploying specialized therapeutic techniques tailored to each client's circumstances.
• Maintain detailed records by completing billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms within specified timeframes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Develop crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans, equipping patients with the tools they need to maintain stability and progress.
• Formulate comprehensive discharge plans that support patients in their ongoing recovery journeys.
• Adhere to all current federal and state laws and regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures, ensuring the highest standards of care.
• Engage in continuous professional development by maintaining competence through training and ongoing education.
• Actively participate in case consultations and agency meetings, collaborating with fellow staff to enhance treatment efficacy and service delivery.
• Complete all licensure and mandatory training timely to maintain professional standards and service quality.

This role focuses on supporting individuals and families facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. You will be instrumental in helping clients navigate their emotional landscapes, fostering resilience and promoting mental wellness through tailored therapeutic approaches.

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family counseling, or a related field that meets licensing requirements.
• Valid licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the State of Texas.

• Previous experience in outpatient counseling settings, particularly with diverse urban populations.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and the ability to efficiently navigate technology-based tools for therapy and documentation.
• A foundational understanding of various therapeutic modalities, with a preference for experience in evidence-based practices.
