To accelerate our success and growth within the European Market, Edmund Optics GmbH is looking for a Regional Sales Manager Germany & Central Europe (f/m/d) (REMOTE) The Regional Sales Manager for Germany & Central Europe is responsible for increasing revenues and developing relationships with existing and new accounts in the assigned territory.

This experienced position is driving the development and execution of sales related to optical components/assemblies to ensure the achievement of sales targets. In this role, you proactively engage with industrial customers and develop new prospects to position Edmund Optics' manufacturing capabilities and address our customers' specific needs. The Regional Sales Manager Germany & Central Europe will work closely with other functional areas including the regional sales teams, marketing, regional and global optical components/solutions experts and engineering to develop objectives and presentations.

Essential Functions: Understand and monitor the market environment, including stakeholders that influence the industry, competition, suppliers, customers, regulation bodies, competitive technologies and more Identify and prioritize relevant customers, partnerships, networks and opportunities Understand our existing accounts' business needs, challenges and goals Develop new accounts in the territory Act as the main point of contact, build trust and maintain long term relationships with key decision makers in purchasing, R&D, operations and management Align the customers' objectives with Edmund Optics' solutions offering Develop long-term strategies for account retention and growth Collaborate with internal teams (product, marketing, R&D, etc.) to create and propose tailored solutions Coordinate with cross-functional teams (customer service, logistics, finance, etc.) to ensure client satisfaction (advocate for the client's needs internally) Lead bids and contracts (re-)negotiations Prepare regular reports, performance metrics and forecasts for internal stakeholders Represent the company at customers, at fairs and networking events Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
