We are currently seeking an execution-focused Project Manager to join our Sustainability Consulting practice, preferably basedon the West Coast,US. This role will work closely with and support Senior Project Managers to deliver exceptional results for our clients.

What this job involves:

Project Execution & Delivery (90%)The Project Manager is primarily responsible for the hands-on execution and delivery of decarbonization initiatives, energy audits, and regulatorycompliance projects.This role will focus on thetimelyand cost-effective completion of client deliverables.The Project Managerwill ensure strong project management practices,maintaineffective communication with clients, and foster collaborative relationships to ensure smooth and successful delivery of all projects.

Key responsibilities include:

Energy Audits and Decarbonization Projects

  • Conduct ASHRAE Level 1,2and 3energy audits,Net Zero Carbon assessments,and retro-commissioning projects.

  • Support the development of portfolio and asset-level Net Zero Carbon strategies.

  • Execute the evaluation and implementation of energy efficiency projects, including deep energy retrofits,byleveragingproject management tools.

  • Review HVAC and BAS systems to identify low- and no-cost energy saving measures.

  • Travel to client sites acrossUSAand occasionally toCanada,to perform audits and assessments.

  • Summarize technical findings into clear, professional reports and present recommendations to clients.

Regulatory Compliance and Benchmarking

  • Manage building energy benchmarking activities using Energy Star Portfolio Manager (ESPM), including profile setup and review.

  • Collect, quality check, and analyze whole-building energy data from utilities and tenants to resolve errors, gaps, or anomalies.

  • Prepare andsubmitbenchmarking reports and other requireddocumentation to regulatory authorities.

  • Evaluate buildings against Building Performance Standards (BPS) todeterminecompliance status,identifypotential for exemptions, and recommendnextsteps.

  • Perform third-party data verification services, including the review of energy data and building characteristics, to meet mandatory reporting requirements.

  • Develop comprehensive Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Programs and Energy Management Plans (EMP) that satisfy jurisdictional requirements (e.g., WA CBPS, OR BPS).

  • Manage a large volume ofbuildings and clients efficiently and independently.

Technical Process & Innovation (10%)The Project Manager will contribute to the continuous improvement of our technical delivery processes and tools.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assistingin the refinement of data management processes and analysis capabilities.

  • Providing feedback on the applicability and use of 3rd party analysis toolsand integration of AI.

  • Collaborating with the broader North American Sustainability Consulting team to adopt best practices.

  • Fostering a personal and team environment of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.

  • Support business development and proposalmanagement

Qualifications:

  • Minimum3-5years of experience in conducting Energy Audits, Retro-Commissioning, or Net Zero Carbon Audits.

  • Experience with building performance regulations and compliance reporting is strongly preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree inEngineering, Building Sciences, Architecture, or a similarly applicable field.Master'sdegree in engineering, sustainability management, or real estate is a plus.

  • P.E.and/or C.E.M. certification ispreferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiencywith Energy Star Portfolio Manager (ESPM) isrequired.

  • Strong understanding of building MEP systems, controls, and energy efficiency measures.

  • Knowledge of North American building performance standards (e.g., WA CBPS, OR BPS, Boston BERDO) is a significant asset.

  • Experience with building analysis software (e.g., IES VE,EnergyPlus, DOE2/eQuest,cove.tool) is a plus.

Personal Attributes

  • Possessa valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client sites.

  • Highly organized, responsive, articulate, and interpersonal.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.

Estimated compensation for this position:

95,000.00 - 115,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
