Screen Rant is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator to support our dynamic social media team. This role is designed to assist with daily scheduling, posting, and management of engaging content across multiple platforms, helping maintain a consistent and high-quality presence for Screen Rant's online community.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and manage daily content (links, images, videos) across multiple social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Twitter, BlueSky, Flipboard) - including breaking news, evergreen discussion posts, recirculated top-performing posts, and more.
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Manager, social coordinators, and editorial team to streamline content posting and adapt quickly to news updates.
  • Write engaging captions and copy to drive user interaction, leveraging Screen Rant's voice and style.
  • Learn and utilize the TrueAnthem scheduling tool and Media Library system, efficiently tagging, sorting, and organizing content.
  • Provide flexible availability, adjusting work hours as needed for special events such as Comic-Con, award shows, or major entertainment news cycles.

Bonus Skills:
  • Familiarity with scheduling or analytics platforms (e.g., TrueAnthem, Buffer, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc.)
  • Basic graphic design and video skills using Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, or similar tools.

Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with and enthusiasm for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Twitter, BlueSky, YouTube).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining Screen Rant's quality standards.
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools and systems, including TrueAnthem and potential schedule adjustments as algorithms change.
