BDR Solutions, LLC (BDR) supports the U.S. Federal Government in successfully achieving its mission and goals. Our service and solution delivery starts with understanding each client's end-state, and then seamlessly integrating within each Agency's organization to improve and enhance business and technical operations and deployments.

BDR is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our growing team! This is a remote position. This position requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust (Tier 2 Moderate Risk) clearance.

Role Overview

The Senior Product Manager owns platform product management activities, including Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), product roadmaps, backlog management, release planning, customer engagement, and outcome-oriented delivery. This role is responsible for ensuring customer experience data is captured and acted upon as customers move through intake, onboarding, and platform use.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and operate a platform product management framework covering OKR alignment, evolving roadmaps, backlog creation and grooming, sprint planning and execution, release planning, and outcome-oriented reporting.
  • Lead development, publication, and maintenance of product roadmaps, including customer experience milestones, platform-level epics, team swim-lanes, and identification and resolution of dependencies and risks.
  • Define and run the OKR process at both platform and team level, setting cycles, collection standards, review cadences, and cross-team roll-ups.
  • Facilitate product management ceremonies including Scrum-of-Scrums, Sprint Demos, Quarterly Reviews, Roadmap Reviews, and Product Planning sessions.
  • Establish and implement product documentation standards for vision, strategy, business cases, product briefs, release notes, and adoption guides.
  • Develop product definition and customer education materials, including positioning materials that align capabilities to customer needs.
  • Build and maintain an understanding of current and prospective customers through persona development, use-case identification, business opportunity discovery, and ongoing collection and triage of customer feedback.
  • Establish customer feedback collection processes across intake, onboarding, and platform use to continuously inform the product roadmap.
  • Measure and report on product operations health and stakeholder engagement.
  • Support FinOps activities by aligning cloud spend with budgets and informing prioritization efforts.

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of product management experience, including at least 4 years leading product management for enterprise data, analytics, or SaaS platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience running OKR programs and Agile product ceremonies at scale across multiple teams or a full platform.
  • Experience building and maintaining product roadmaps, backlogs, and release plans for technical platforms.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable Tier 2 (Moderate Risk) background investigation.
  • U.S. Citizenship or authorization to work in the United States.

Desired Skills and Qualifications Certified

  • Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, or equivalent product certification.
  • Experience with federal health data, VA Data & Analytics (D&A), or Veterans Health Administration (VHA) environments.
  • Familiarity with FinOps principles and cloud cost management.
  • Experience specifically with data platform, data governance, or analytics products (as distinct from general SaaS product management).
  • Security Requirement Public Trust position requiring a Tier 2 (Moderate Risk) background investigation.
  • Work Environment Standard office/remote-office environment with extended periods of computer use.
  • Must be able to participate in real-time virtual meetings during core East Coast business hours and, as applicable, extended production-support windows.
  • Occasional travel within the Continental United States as required for program meetings.


This position is contingent upon contract award.

The salary compensation range for this position is $140,000 - 200,000. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

In addition, U.S Citizenship is required. Select applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and be able to obtain a government-granted security clearance. Individuals may also be subject to a background investigation including, but not limited to criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.
