What does a remote multifamily project manager do?

A Remote Multifamily Project Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of construction or renovation projects for multifamily residential properties, such as apartment complexes, while working off-site. They manage budgets, schedules, and communication between stakeholders, ensuring each project meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in technical project management, with a proven track record of leading complex, enterprise-level system deployments from planning through execution. • Foundational knowledge of Zero Trust and Identity, Credential & Access Management (ICAM) a plus
  • Proficiency in project management tools — e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, or equivalent for schedule and resource tracking
  • Experience with federal timekeeping and financial systems — Unanet or equivalent strongly preferred
  • Experience drafting governance and system documentation: SOPs, MOUs, ISAs, System Guides, User Training, etc.
