• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to evaluate students' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans that promote their well-being.

• Maintain precise and timely documentation of clinical records in accordance with best practices and regulatory standards.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including teachers, psychologists, and counselors, to design and implement comprehensive support strategies.
• Provide educational resources and support to students and their families, fostering understanding and encouraging participation in the therapeutic process.
• Stay informed about emerging trends and research in mental health treatment to continuously enhance your skills and the care provided.

In this role, you will work primarily with a diverse group of school-aged children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Your expertise will help them navigate these difficulties and improve their academic and social functioning, thereby enhancing their overall quality of life.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid LCSW license in the state of New York.
• Demonstrated knowledge of solution-focused therapy and other evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative in a remote work setting.

• Previous experience working in school settings or with children and families is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with collaboration in multidisciplinary teams, particularly in educational environments.
• Experience with teletherapy or remote counseling practices would be an asset.
