• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments for clients admitted to the detox center, employing standardized tools and interviews to develop precise treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to facilitate client progress towards their mental health goals.
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation of clinical activities and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction counselors, to coordinate holistic care for each patient.
• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to elevate the quality of care delivered at the detox center.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families, equipping them with essential tools and knowledge for sustainable recovery.
• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in mental health and substance use treatment to continuously improve care strategies.

As an LCSW at our detox center, you will engage with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from substance use disorders and related mental health challenges. Our client base ranges from young adults to older populations, each with unique backgrounds and treatment needs. Your role will be pivotal in fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship that empowers these clients on their journey to recovery.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution with a robust educational foundation in clinical practices.
• Active and valid LCSW license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, specifically in mental health or substance use treatment settings.
• Strong proficiency in solution-focused therapeutic interventions, demonstrating a client-centered approach.
