Novo Connections is seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to generate new client relationships within the healthcare staffing industry. This is an outbound sales role focused on prospecting hospitals, health systems, telehealth organizations, and other healthcare employers through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, and scheduling qualified discovery meetings. Candidates with healthcare staffing, healthcare recruiting, hospital sales, or healthcare workforce solutions experience are strongly preferred.

Position Overview

This is an outbound business development position focused on creating new relationships with healthcare organizations nationwide.

The successful candidate will spend much of each day identifying prospective healthcare clients, researching decision-makers, conducting cold calls, executing personalized email and LinkedIn outreach, nurturing relationships, and scheduling qualified discovery meetings for company leadership.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys opening doors, building relationships, and creating new business opportunities through consistent outbound prospecting.

Strategic sales presentations, pricing, contract negotiations, and final closing responsibilities remain with company leadership.

What You'll DoProspect Research

  • Research hospitals, health systems, telehealth organizations, behavioral health providers, long-term care organizations, and other healthcare employers.
  • Identify key decision-makers including Directors of Clinical Nutrition, Talent Acquisition leaders, Human Resources, department directors, and executive leadership.
  • Monitor healthcare organizations for hiring activity, organizational changes, expansion initiatives, and staffing trends.
  • Prepare concise prospect research summaries prior to executive meetings.

Outbound Business Development

  • Conduct outbound cold calls to prospective healthcare clients.
  • Execute personalized email and LinkedIn outreach campaigns.
  • Schedule qualified discovery meetings for company leadership.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective clients.
  • Reengage inactive prospects and previous client relationships.
  • Represent Novo Connections with professionalism, credibility, and a consultative approach.

CRM & Pipeline Management

  • Maintain accurate CRM records.
  • Track all outreach activity and next steps.
  • Manage prospect pipelines through every stage of the sales process.
  • Recommend follow-up strategies for stalled opportunities.
  • Help improve scalable business development processes as the company grows.

Sales Support

  • Prepare meeting agendas and prospect briefings.
  • Draft professional client communications.
  • Coordinate follow-up after discovery meetings.
  • Assist with proposals, presentations, service overviews, and marketing materials.
