Job description

Regional Sales Manager - East
Zero Motorcycles is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to drive the growth of our brand throughout the Eastern US. We love motorcycles and motorcyclists of all types! If, however, you're interested in playing a part in developing the future of motorcycling, read on!
This is a highly visible sales support and dealer development position that requires extensive travel (we'll provide you with a van filled with demo motorcycles and accessories to hit the road). At certain times of the year, you will travel up to three or four nights per week with occasional weekend travel for events. You'll need a valid driver's license with a motorcycle endorsement - with a good driving record.
You will be the primary point of contact between Zero Motorcycles and dealerships in your assigned region so it's important that you know your way around a powersports dealership, have a thorough understanding of sales processes, and a commitment to excellent customer service. Prior experience working in the powersports industry and/or a dealership is strongly preferred and would be a significant advantage. Absent that experience, you would have to make a very compelling case for why you should be considered.
About Zero Motorcycles
By combining the best aspects of a traditional motorcycle with today's most advanced technology, we produce high-performance electric motorcycles that are lightweight, efficient, fast off-the-line, and fun to ride. From a prototype conceived inside a Santa Cruz, California garage in 2006, Zero has rapidly grown into an international motorcycle company.
Joining the sales team at Zero now means joining a team that helped our dealers produced over 89% sales growth in 2025 while expanding our dealer network by over 40%. We've posted great growth in both of those categories in 2026 and we're full throttle into the fall and heading into 2027.
What you will do
You will work closely with colleagues in Sales, Dealer Development, Customer Experience, and Dealer Marketing to accomplish your region's objectives. It's a big job. Fundamental to your success will be expertise with all things Zero Motorcycles (we will train you), powersports industry knowledge and insight, and a proven ability create opportunity through support, training and follow through.
  • Work in partnership with dealership staff to accomplish wholesale and retail sales goals
  • Build and sustain long-term relationships with key dealership staff through on-site visits, regular communication, responsiveness to questions or concerns, and follow through
  • Regularly analyze market trends, competitor activities and dealership needs to enable Zero to respond to opportunities proactively
  • Ensure the successful implementation of sales campaigns and promotions within dealerships to increase brand awareness and grow revenue
  • Identify, evaluate, and recruit new dealers in designated markets in partnership with Dealer Development
  • Conduct sales and product training with dealership staff as necessary throughout the year
  • Ensure all Zero leads are promptly and appropriately responded to by dealership staff
  • Plan and conduct sales events in region and at dealerships throughout the year to demonstrate Zero motorcycles and accessories
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in CRM to support ongoing operations and communication
  • Monitor and enforce dealer compliance with policies and procedures
What you will bring
Possessing the skills and attributes below will greatly contribute to your success and happiness in this role and the high-performance culture at Zero Motorcycles:
  • The ability to thrive amidst many challenges and to accomplish more than one thing at a time, on time
  • A relentless drive to overcome obstacles, solve problems, and achieve goals
  • An outgoing personality with a positive outlook and can-do attitude
  • Comfort working independently, staying focused and seeing things through to completion
  • The ability to communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing
  • Open to new ideas and adaptable to changing circumstances or new information
  • Technically proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (preferably Salesforce)

Physical & Sensory Requirements
  • Must be able to work various hours that may include days and evenings
  • Must be able to work indoors and outdoors when necessary
  • Must be able to load and unload motorcycles from a van without assistance
  • Must be able to set up and take down exhibit materials and host demo rides

Schedule: Must be able to work varying hours that may include days and evenings
Travel: Must be able to travel domestically and internationally.
Relocation: No relocation benefits are available.
Location: Our headquarters is located in Scotts Valley, California. This position is fully remote, located within the East sales region.
US Work Authorization: Selected candidate must be authorized to work for any US company, without current or future need of sponsorship for US work authorization. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship for any work visa.
We aspire to have a culture where people are first. We strive to attract and retain a diverse workforce; therefore, all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status. Zero Motorcycles is an equal opportunity employer and by doing so, we will sustain and promote an inclusive culture that supports future growth for all.
Compensation & Benefits
โ€ข Competitive base salary and performance-based incentive program
โ€ข 401K Plan with company contribution
โ€ข Medical Benefits (health, vision and dental insurance)
โ€ข Paid Time Off
โ€ข Company vehicle and demo motorcycles
The estimated salary range for a new hire in this position is $80,000 to $95,000 base pay, plus variable incentive pay. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include candidate's knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, discretionary target cash bonus, Zero offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan.
