• Facilitate both individual and group counseling sessions that address emotional challenges related to aging, including anxiety, depression, and grief.
• Work alongside healthcare teams to develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans that align with each client's mental health goals.
• Provide education to staff members and family caregivers on effective strategies to support emotional well-being and enhance the quality of life for seniors.
• Offer specialized grief and loss counseling to residents and their families who are navigating end-of-life challenges.
• Design and implement cognitive stimulation programs that promote mental agility and resilience among elderly clients.

Your primary focus will be on elderly clients who face various mental health challenges. Many of our clients may be dealing with transitions such as retirement, loss of loved ones, or chronic health conditions. Understanding the complexities of aging and its impact on mental health will be crucial in helping clients lead fulfilling lives.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) designation.
• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• At least four years of recent experience in counseling with a focus on geriatrics and mental health support.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices and interventions tailored toward the elderly population.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster positive relationships with clients and families.
• Demonstrated empathy and cultural sensitivity to effectively serve clients from diverse backgrounds.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 65,000 to 95,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with potential for a sign-on bonus.
