Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments utilizing a variety of diagnostic tools to identify emotional and behavioral disorders.
• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their personal goals and preferences, employing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Facilitate individual, couple, and group counseling sessions, employing a range of methodologies and interventions that cater to diverse therapeutic needs.
• Teach clients effective coping strategies and self-care techniques tailored to their unique circumstances, empowering them to manage their mental health proactively.
• Monitor client progress regularly by conducting follow-up assessments and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Engage in continuous collaboration with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care encompassing physical, emotional, and psychological health.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and any relevant observations, adhering to privacy regulations and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LPC with Bournewood Psychotherapy Services, you will work with a diverse array of clients coping with various conditions, including anxiety disorders, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and more. By addressing each client's unique experiences and backgrounds, your work will be pivotal in promoting mental health awareness and support within the community.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• State licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) is mandatory.
• Proven experience in individual, couple, and group counseling settings, demonstrating the ability to adapt approaches based on client needs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on effective interpersonal interactions.
• An empathetic and non-judgmental demeanor to support clients in vulnerable situations.
• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Flexibility in scheduling to meet clients' availability and needs.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in telehealth counseling and familiarity with digital communication tools used in therapy.
• Specialized training or certifications in specific therapy modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR) is a plus.
• A background in working with specific populations (e.g., children, couples, trauma survivors) may be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 annually, depending on experience and caseload. In addition to financial remuneration, you will have access to numerous client referrals as part of our collaborative network.
