Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while serving clients across Bend and surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to diagnose emotional and behavioral disorders, using evidence-based practices.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients' unique needs, goals, and therapeutic preferences.
• Facilitate individual, couples, and group counseling sessions through virtual platforms, effectively engaging participants regardless of their location.
• Provide education on coping strategies and self-care techniques to empower clients in managing their mental health.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele includes individuals grappling with a wide range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and trauma. As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Bournewood, you will have the opportunity to work with various age groups, including adolescents and adults, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet the diverse needs of each client.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor is mandatory.
• Proven experience in providing individual, couple, and group counseling.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a supportive and trusting environment for clients.
• Empathetic and non-judgmental approach, with a commitment to client-centered care.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating effectively within a remote team.
• Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate clients outside traditional hours.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a community health or clinic setting, providing services to diverse populations.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual communication tools.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, or EMDR.
• Experience in documenting client progress in electronic health records (EHR).

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload. In addition to a supportive work environment, our counselors benefit from client referrals and promotional opportunities. Our team offers assistance with billing and documentation, allowing you to focus primarily on client care.
