Job description

We are currently looking for a Growth Operations & Business Development Analyst for a 100% remote position supporting VetsEZ's federal business development organization. In this role, you will support strategic growth initiatives by conducting market research, maintaining Salesforce data, analyzing pipeline metrics, developing competitive intelligence, and assisting capture and proposal teams pursuing opportunities across the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Defense Health Agency (DHA), Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and other federal agencies.
This position is ideal for an early-career professional interested in Federal Government Business Development, Capture Management, Growth Operations, Sales Operations, or Account Management. You will collaborate closely with Account Executives, Capture Managers, Proposal Managers, Solution Architects, and executive leadership while gaining exposure to the entire federal business development lifecycle.
The candidate must reside within the continental US.
Responsibilities
  • Research upcoming federal contracting opportunities using government procurement websites, market intelligence platforms, and industry resources.
  • Monitor procurement forecasts, contract awards, recompete opportunities, and industry announcements across federal healthcare agencies.
  • Research competitors, incumbent contractors, teaming partners, and market trends to support competitive intelligence and capture planning.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity, account, and pipeline information within Salesforce CRM.
  • Develop executive reports, dashboards, pipeline analytics, and business development metrics to support leadership decision-making.
  • Assist Capture Managers with customer research, procurement history, briefing materials, gate reviews, Black Hat sessions, and capture planning activities.
  • Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Government, or a related field, with 0-2 years of professional experience in business development, market research, consulting, sales operations, government contracting, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to research, organize, and interpret market and business intelligence data.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills, curiosity, initiative, and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
Additional Qualifications
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Power BI, GovWin, SAM.gov, USAspending.gov, or other federal market intelligence tools is preferred.
  • Experience using AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar technologies to improve research and operational efficiency is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Federal Government procurement, proposal development, Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Defense Health Agency (DHA), or Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is preferred.
