• Engage with clients through telephone and virtual consultations, assessing their needs and determining the appropriate level of support required.
• Conduct thorough client assessments to gather information, including background history and presenting problems, ensuring a holistic understanding of each case.
• Provide crisis intervention services to clients experiencing immediate psychological distress, demonstrating empathy and calm amidst challenging situations.
• Facilitate referrals to external agencies and resources, ensuring clients have access to necessary support systems, including housing, food assistance, and mental health services.
• Document interactions and maintain accurate records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, preparing detailed reports on client progress and interventions.
• Participate in ongoing training, supervision sessions, and multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance skills and share insights on best practices.
• Monitor client progress and develop personalized treatment plans that focus on therapeutic goals and measurable outcomes.
• Stay vigilant for signs of child abuse or neglect and be prepared to take the appropriate action in alignment with state regulations and organizational policies.

In this role, you will work with a diverse population of clients, primarily focusing on children and families affected by complex social issues, including trauma, substance abuse, and violence. The ability to connect with clients from various backgrounds and socioeconomic statuses is fundamental to achieving positive client outcomes. • A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Active state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to listen attentively, ask meaningful questions, and respond appropriately.
• Proficient in technology, including the use of computers for documentation and communication, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries while providing empathetic support to clients experiencing distress.
• A valid driver's license is necessary for potential outreach or community involvement as needed.

• Experience working with clients involved in the child welfare system, those impacted by domestic violence, and individuals facing substance abuse challenges is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated expertise in crisis intervention techniques and development of treatment plans.
• Familiarity with community resources and services available in Richmond, Virginia, that can support client needs.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, with the potential for monthly productivity bonuses.
