ERG is seeking a Senior Contract Administrator to support the full lifecycle of contracts-from proposal development through administration and closeout. In this role, you will serve as a key advisor to both clients and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance, manage risk, and drive successful contract execution. In this senior-level position, you will leverage your expertise to guide complex contract activities, mentor junior team members, and contribute to the continued development of the Contracts Department. Job Description:
  • Administer federal, state, and/or local contracts across the full lifecycle, including proposal preparation, negotiation, administration, and closeout
  • Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams (technical, business development, subcontracts, and accounting) to deliver comprehensive contract support
  • Advise senior management on contractual risk, compliance matters, and contract strategy
  • Partner with technical and business leads to drive compliant, competitive proposals
  • Conduct contracts-related research and analysis and contribute to the development and continuous improvement of contract department policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Support training and development initiatives within the Contracts Department
  • Directly prepare, analyze, and negotiate cost and pricing proposals, including profitability analyses and risk assessments
  • Implement and uphold procurement policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior contract professionals, supporting their development and knowledge of contracting best practices
  • Support contract closeout activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution of outstanding items

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 12 years of contract administration experience supporting federal, state, and/or local government contracts; experience as a federal government prime contractor in professional services preferred
  • Experience with GSA Multiple Award Schedules, U.S. EPA, and/or DoD contracting is a plus (experience with other federal agencies welcome)
  • Demonstrated expertise in proposal pricing, contract negotiation, and problem solving
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe
  • Solid understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and contract types, including CPFF, T&M, FFP
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint ERP is a plus
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and proactive problem-solving skills
