Key Responsibilities

In your role as an LMFT, you will be responsible for:

• Providing individual and group therapy sessions via telehealth platforms to address issues such as anxiety, depression, family conflict, and trauma.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to the unique needs of each client, focusing on improving emotional well-being and interpersonal relationships.
• Collaborating with other healthcare providers, social workers, and educational institutions when necessary to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Documenting therapy sessions and maintaining accurate client records in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
• Engaging in regular supervision and continuing education opportunities to stay abreast of the latest clinical practices and enhance your therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals and families facing a broad spectrum of emotional and behavioral challenges. You will work with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly, helping them navigate issues affecting their mental health and relationships. Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist position will possess:

• A valid LMFT license in the state of Nevada.
• A Bachelor's degree in a related field; a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related discipline is preferred.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience working with individuals and families in a therapeutic setting.
• Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to establish rapport and trust with clients.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates who have:

• Experience in providing culturally competent care and addressing the specific needs of diverse client populations.
• Training in specialized therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, or Play Therapy.
• Experience working within a community health clinic or related environment.

Compensation and Benefits
