Job Description:

Fuel Meter Calibration Technician tests, adjusts, and repairs fuel dispensing meters and storage tank systems to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance. They perform field inspections, maintain equipment at retail/commercial sites, and document results for compliance with Weights and Measures regulations. Key tasks involve troubleshooting, repairing faulty meters, and verifying proper flow measurements for fuels.ย  May be asked to assist with other jobs company is performing at any given time including but not limited to tank installation, tank testing, line and hose testing, equipment maintenance and repairs

Key Responsibilities

  • Calibration & Testing: Calibrate fuel dispensing meters at retail gas stations or commercial facilities to meet compliance standards.
  • Inspections: Perform monthly or annual inspections of underground/above-ground storage tank systems and monitoring equipment.
  • Maintenance & Repair: Repair or replace faulty components in fueling systems, including pumps, meters,ย and other fuel or oil system relatedย components.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate, detailed reports on calibration, inspections, and repairs for safety and legal compliance.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to environmental and safety regulations for handling hazardous materials.ย

CAMCAL Incorporated is a 70+ year old General Contractor company that provides specialized services, to oil company and distribution of petroleum, chemical and other liquid products. The company sells, installs and services a wide range of specialized equipment that supports fuel storage, fuel custody transfer and transportation solutions to oil distributors, heavy construction companies, retail commercial and industrial business, major oil companies and airport refueling companies and Government Entities. In addition, the company is involved with industrial, commercial and retail vehicle maintenance facilities build out from the ground up, inclusive of oil tanks, overhead hose reels, installation of complex hydraulic oil line systems and vehicle lifts, including a large variety of other petroleum equipment.
