Exciting Remote BigID SME contract opportunity.

Requirements

We're looking for a BigID SME Consultant to lead end-to-end deployments, upgrades, and integrations of the BigID platform for enterprise clients. This role requires strong hands-on experience with BigID and the ability to work directly with customers to ensure successful implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead BigID deployments and upgrades across on-prem and cloud environments
  • Implement and configure BigID for data discovery, classification, and cataloging across structured and unstructured data sources
  • Integrate BigID with databases, data lakes, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and SaaS applications
  • Configure PII, PHI, PCI, GDPR, CCPA policies and data classification rules
  • Support data privacy workflows such as DSAR, consent management, and data retention
  • Develop and customize BigID scans, connectors, and metadata ingestion
  • Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with BigID and data governance/privacy tools
  • Strong knowledge of APIs, Linux, scripting (Python/Shell), and cloud platforms
  • Hands-on experience in a Professional Services or consulting role
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Proven ability to lead projects independently
