Join NEXCOM for an exciting 18-month project supporting Ecommerce, digital content, and enterprise marketing operations in a fast-paced collaborative environment. This short-term position offers benefits and is eligible for remote work.

Job Summary:

The Project Coordinator is a role responsible for supporting the planning, organization, and execution of projects across various business functions, including merchandising, marketing, operations, and customer experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

-  Works closely with project managers, business teams, and cross-functional partners to assist in delivering high-impact initiatives that improve efficiency and drive business success.

-  Provides foundational experience in project execution, stakeholder coordination, and process improvement,

-  Ensures projects remain on track by coordinating schedules, tracking progress, and facilitating communication between stakeholders.

-  Provides support in organizing and executing project plans to ensure alignment with business objectives and operational timelines.

-  Tracks project schedules, deliverables, and deadlines, offering regular updates to project managers and key stakeholders.

-  Acts as a liaison between departments to ensure clear, timely communication of project updates, changes, and requirements.

-  Maintains accurate documentation, including status reports and meeting notes, to promote transparency and accountability.

-  Identifies and suggests opportunities to improve project execution and workflow efficiency through enhanced coordination and collaboration.

-  Assists in monitoring project budgets, tracking expenses and resource allocation to maintain financial accountability.

-  Coordinates and facilitates project meetings by scheduling, preparing agendas, documenting action items, and following up on outstanding tasks.

-  Supports risk management by identifying potential challenges early and escalating concerns to the appropriate project team members.

-  Collaborates with cross-functional teams such as merchandising, marketing, operations, and customer experience to support successful project implementation

-  Learns and applies project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira, or similar platforms to manage workflows and monitor progress.

-  Pursues professional development opportunities to build foundational project management knowledge, best practices, and industry insight.

Performs other related duties as assigned.


GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Three years of experience in a business administrative operations or project-related role that provided a general knowledge of business operations project coordination or merchandising practices demonstrated interpersonal skills through person-to-person work relationships and the ability to exercise sound judgment in managing priorities and tasks. 

OR SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: Education above the high school level may be substituted for general experience at the rate of 1 year of education for 9 months of experience up to a maximum of a 4-year bachelor s degree in Business Marketing Operations or a related field for 3 years of general experience. 

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience in an administrative project coordination or operations support role with strong organizational abilities and effective verbal and written communication skills in support of cross-functional teams. Must demonstrate Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Excel PowerPoint Word Outlook . Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana Trello Smartsheet or Jira. Ability to manage multiple priorities meet deadlines and work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
