As a Mental Health Counselor, your role will encompass various vital responsibilities:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions via video conferencing to assist clients in improving their mental health and well-being.

• Acting as an advocate for clients, helping them to define achievable goals and navigate their mental health journey.

Your clientele will be comprised of pre-screened individuals who demonstrate stable mental health with low acuity. To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
• Possession of an independent license (such as LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW) issued by the state board is essential. Note that limited or provisional licenses are not accepted.
• Demonstrated ability to perform clinical evaluations and develop treatment plans with a focus on client empowerment.
• Strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and a compassionate nature that fosters a supportive environment for clients.
• Proficient computer literacy to navigate online therapeutic tools and documentation systems.

While not mandatory, additional experience that would enhance your application includes:

• Previous experience utilizing teletherapy platforms to engage with clients effectively.
