As a Mental Health Counselor, you will engage in teletherapy sessions with clients, using a robust therapy platform that acts as your all-in-one digital office. We prioritize minimal administrative burdens, allowing you to concentrate on delivering exceptional care to your clients.

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct individual counseling sessions through video chat, focusing on enhancing clients' mental well-being.
• Facilitate discussions that encourage clients to explore their emotions and experiences, fostering self-insight and improving their interpersonal relationships.
• Serve as an advocate for clients, helping them identify and articulate their personal goals.
• Assess clients' psychological conditions and develop comprehensive treatment plans utilizing a solution-focused methodology based on best practices and your clinical expertise.

Your client base will consist of stable adults with low acuity mental health concerns, ensuring a supportive and manageable workload. Clients are pre-screened to ensure they meet specific criteria, allowing you to focus on therapeutic interventions that promote growth and healing. We carefully match you with clients who align with your specialties and demographic preferences to ensure a strong therapeutic alliance.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A completed Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• A valid, unrestricted license from the state board allowing you to practice independently, such as:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Evidence of being in good standing without any disciplinary actions.

While not mandatory, previous experience in remote counseling or teletherapy, as well as experience dealing with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and relationship issues is highly desirable. Familiarity with digital therapy platforms can also enhance your effectiveness in this role.
