Job description

Per Diem/Part time Mental Health Therapist position (Remote Only in New Jersey). This is a perfect position for someone looking to make supplemental income and someone looking to embark into the private practice world. You will be conducting individual, couples, and/or family sessions.

We will provide you with referrals, but your proactive efforts will determine the size of your caseload and your success. You will be a W2 employee, we will handle your insurance verification and billing, and we will provide you with clinical supervision and education about the business side of private practice.

We are a close-knit group with counseling and business mindsets. We have a vested interest in your growth. If you grow, the practice expands, and more opportunities present themselves for everyone.

IMPORTANT: To succeed at this position, you'll need to have patience and an entrepreneurial spirit. A very important determination of success is to be prompt with your communication and receptive to text messages. (The majority of your referrals will start through text).

The IDEAL CANDIDATE IS SOMEONE WHO

Has experience working with couples and addictions

Is prompt with communication (text, email, phone)

Does not mind using his/her phone for ongoing communication

Communicates effectively with referrals and staff

Has a business/private practice mindset

Is proactive and motivated to build his/her caseload

Is comfortable working with adolescents and adults

Maintains proper documentation

Is familiar with TherapyNotes.com (If not we can train you)
