Revive and Thrive Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. This remote position allows you to work flexibly while also connecting with colleagues through a virtual setting. Our outpatient facility emphasizes collaboration among a multidisciplinary team comprising other therapists, psychiatrists, and support staff, ensuring comprehensive care tailored to each client’s unique needs. While you will primarily operate from home, opportunities for face-to-face consultations may arise, enhancing collaborative efforts in client care.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused strategies, to provide individualized counseling for clients.
• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to formulate effective treatment plans that cater to the specific needs of individuals, families, and groups.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate multidisciplinary care, including case management and referrals for additional services when necessary.
• Engage in continual professional development through training sessions and workshops to stay current on the latest mental health research and therapeutic techniques.
• Participate actively in peer supervision and team meetings to share insights, discuss cases, and enhance overall team performance.

Your role will involve working with varied client demographics, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship issues. Understanding the unique backgrounds and cultural contexts of clients is crucial for delivering effective and empathetic care that fosters trust and encourages progress.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.
• Minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, demonstrating competency in providing therapeutic support.
• Strong grasp of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the establishment of rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficient in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems for documentation and communication.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment.
• Previous experience in a telehealth setting, demonstrating adaptability to remote counseling techniques.
• Familiarity with group therapy facilitation and community outreach programs focused on mental health awareness.
