Job description

* This is a remote position with preference for candidates in the Chicagoland area*
Purpose and Scope
The Graphic Designer will work within the marketing and creative team to design, produce, and manage visual assets for both internal and external purposes. This includes digital and print materials (e.g., marketing collateral, packaging support, scientific posters, event materials, e-detailing, patient education materials). The role requires strong design skills. Previous familiarity with working under regulatory/quality constraints typical of the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
โ€ข Work with brand teams and Creative Director to develop compelling visual designs that align with brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints (print, web, social, trade show, etc.).
โ€ข Collaborate cross-functionally to translate scientific and marketing messages into clear and visually engaging graphics.
โ€ข Create infographics, illustrations, diagrams, layout templates, and presentations that communicate complex health/science information to diverse audiences (HCPs, patients, stakeholders).
โ€ข Prepare print-ready files and digital assets, manage production vendors, and ensure quality control (color management, typography, proofing).
โ€ข Maintain and update a digital asset library, design templates, and brand toolkit.
โ€ข Stay current on design trends, digital tools, technologies, and industry best practices; propose improvements in processes and workflows.
โ€ข Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g. FDA, EMA), (internal) brand and medical-legal standards, including version control and archiving.
โ€ข Occasionally attend trade shows or internal events for on-site design/production support.
โ€ข Creation of in-house presentations and templates as needed
โ€ข Perform various other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
โ€ข Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, especially for creating presentation-graphics).

Compensation
Tolmar compensation programs are focused on equitable, fair pay practices, including market-based base pay and a strong benefits package. The final compensation offered may vary from the posted range based on the selected candidate's qualifications and experience.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between ($56,000 - $84,000/year); however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/26 through 12/31/26, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to, geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
