Job description

About the Role

We are seeking a driven, clinically comfortable Account Manager to lead direct sales efforts

within hospital and health system accounts. This is a field-based, quota-carrying role

responsible for growing revenue within an assigned territory by building relationships with

surgeons, physicians, procedural staff, and hospital administrators. The ideal candidate is

equally comfortable closing a deal in a boardroom and standing in a procedure room supporting

live case coverage.

What You Will Do

 Own and grow a defined hospital territory, managing the full sales cycle from

prospecting to close

 Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, nursing staff, procurement, and

value analysis committees

 Provide in-servicing, product training, and hands-on case support, including observing

and supporting live clinical procedures in the OR, cath lab, endo suite, or other

procedural settings

 Partner with clinical and marketing teams to identify new business opportunities and

defend existing accounts

 Navigate hospital purchasing processes, including value analysis committee (VAC)

presentations and GPO/contract considerations

 Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline tracking, and account planning in CRM

 Stay current on relevant clinical literature, competitive landscape, and procedural

techniques

 Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and regional medical society

meetings

What We Are Looking For

 3+ years of experience in medical device sales, clinical sales, or related field-based

hospital sales; new-to-industry candidates with strong clinical or surgical background

also considered

 Demonstrated ability to build trust with physicians and clinical staff in high-stakes

environments

 Comfort and composure observing or supporting live surgical/procedural cases,

including exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and OR/procedural protocols

 Strong track record of quota attainment and territory growth

 Ability to navigate complex hospital systems, including procurement, VAC, and

multiple stakeholder sign-off

 Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills

 Willingness to travel extensively within territory (may include early-morning case

coverage and occasional overnight travel)

 Bachelors degree required; clinical background (RN, surgical tech, CVT, etc.) a plus but

not required

Company Description

CoapTech is a medical device company focused on transforming enteral access through its FDA-cleared PUMA-G System. The technology enables physicians to place gastrostomy tubes at the patient’s bedside using ultrasound guidance, helping avoid transfers to procedure suites and reducing dependence on constrained GI, interventional radiology, operating room, and anesthesia resources. CoapTech’s platform is designed to improve patient access, hospital efficiency, and care delivery while reducing procedural delays and costs. The company is commercializing PUMA-G in adult and pediatric markets and is expanding adoption across U.S. healthcare systems.
