This position is fully remote, utilizing a robust telehealth platform that allows counselors to connect with clients effectively and efficiently. • Manage a caseload of clients, fostering rapport and nurturing therapeutic relationships while upholding professional ethics and boundaries.
• Conduct regular sessions to track client progress, discuss stability, and plan for discharge when appropriate.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, monitoring clients’ progress and adjusting strategies as needed.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of client interactions, including timely progress notes and assessments.
• Perform thorough intake assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs accurately.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions on a consistent basis, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Engage in ongoing individual supervision to ensure professional growth and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, to enhance treatment outcomes.

Your role will primarily focus on providing services to a diverse array of clients including children, adolescents, and adults experiencing various mental health challenges. This ranges from anxiety, depression, trauma, to familial and relational issues. Understanding the unique backgrounds and circumstances of every client will help tailor your therapeutic approaches, ensuring their individual needs are met in a compassionate and effective manner.

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.
• Must possess an unrestricted, active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) designation.
• At least one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting is necessary.
• Proficiency in using technology, including familiarity with RMS systems, spreadsheets, email communications, and telehealth platforms.
• Experience delivering direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families.
• Comfort and skill in conducting intake assessments with sensitivity and professionalism.

• A background working in a telehealth setting is a plus, highlighting experience in remote client engagement.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and their application in outpatient settings.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse healthcare team.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Valley View Medical Clinic employs a fee-for-service model that allows clinicians to maximize their earning potential with guaranteed rates, ensuring payment in advance of collections.
